Corn Hill Arts Festival is consistently ranked as one of the top art shows in the United States featuring activities for children, a wide variety of music and entertainment, local and national sponsors, and over 40 food vendors. This two-day event offers a unique selection of original handcrafted arts and crafts from over 400-juried artists from around the country and Canada. This family-oriented festival offers hours of fun and excitement for everyone; including The Children’s Activity Area which offers a variety of exciting entertainment, hands-on-activities, face painting, arts and crafts for kids, and more! This festival also provides four stages featuring free music and other entertainment, including: bluegrass, jazz, reggae, rock, classical music, classic rock, local church gospel and much more! Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival is a campus-wide event that showcases the innovative and creative spirit of RIT students, faculty and staff. Visitors experience the breadth and depth of RIT through interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, exhibitions, and research projects set up throughout campus.
The delectably rich Hilton Apple Fest will celebrate its 30th annual festival October 2-3, 2010 at the Hilton Village Community Center, 59 Henry Street, in Hilton.
Free family fun entertainment will be presented at the Kids Korner, in addition to the Gazebo and Main stages. There will be entertainment for everyone in the family; from Gary the Happy Pirate, to the Skycoasters and Invictas.
The festival will also feature Corey’s Apple Pond, face painting, a Farmers Market, a display of this year’s photo contest entries and more than 200 vendors offering unique and handmade crafts and apple treats. A crowd favorite, Hot Apple Crisp, is available for purchase at 12 noon each day and always sells fast.
One of Rochester’s largest and final auto shows of the season will be held on Saturday. This year’s theme: The Muscle Car. The ‘Modern Muscle Car’ will be a welcomed addition to the roster of automotive classes.
A variety of foods and apple treats will be offered to benefit local non-profit organizations. Official 2010 Apple Fest Souvenirs featuring the unique 2010 Logo will also be available for purchase. Admission is free.
A free shuttle bus with disability access will be available at Hilton High School, 400 East Avenue in Hilton. Shuttle bus and parking are free to the public.
